OBJECTIVES

We are a group of cyclists campaigning for safe cycle routes between all settlements on the Manhood Peninsula. The routes pages will show the progress made by the local authorities, Chichester Harbour Conservancy and Sustrans. The Manhood Cycle Network works with all of these bodies ensuring that the case for completing the network is made.

The main roads to the coastal settlements of Selsey, Bracklesham, East and West Wittering and the inland villages of West Itchenor, Birdham, Sidlesham, Hunston and North Mundham are too narrow and too heavily trafficed to be satisfactoriry for safe cycling. Safe cycle routes require linking quieter minor road network with dedicated cycle paths.
